Terry Lanigan specializes in the field of weight loss and pre/post-bariatric surgery behavioral health. Ms. Lanigan collaborates with several well respected bariatric surgeons in the West Michigan Lakeshore area to enhance successful preparation for, and adjustment to, the bariatric surgery process.
With a supportive approach to behavioral health, Ms. Lanigan focuses on identifying personal strengths in the weight loss process, while also identifying potential obstacles to success. Working with these obstacles while maintaining respect for each individual is a hallmark of her approach.
In addition to her qualifications as a behavioral health therapist, Ms. Lanigan has been a Certified Fitness Trainer with the American Council on Exercise since 1996. She was the Vice President and Co-Founder of the Personal Trainer Network, Inc of New York.
Terry has provided expert consultation to Employee Assistance Programs of the Westchester County Department of Community Health and Bariatric Surgery programs of the Westchester County Medical Center.
